Privacy Policy

Reecher runs reecherapp.com. We are responsible for the personal data you give us on the site. For any privacy question or request, email hello@reecherapp.com.

• Your account. Email address, account type (creator or brand), your name or company name, and your password. We store the password only as a one-way hash, so we never see it.
• Creator profiles. What you choose to add: display name, headline, bio, photo, city and country, languages, gender and birth year, contact email, phone, website, rates, the niches you work in, your social handles, and follower and engagement figures.
• Connected social accounts. If you connect Instagram or TikTok, we receive your username and basic profile details. From TikTok we also receive your list of videos, which we use to confirm content you post for an offer. We store the access keys encrypted, and you can disconnect at any time.
• Brand accounts. Company name, website, industry, contact name, and the briefs, offers and activation days you create.
• What you do on Reecher. Perks you claim and redeem, briefs you apply to, activation days you enter and their draw results. When an offer asks for content, it also includes the proof you send us: post links, captions and screenshots.
• Security information. To stop password guessing, we keep a one-way code made from your email address and IP address for a short time when you sign in or reset a password. We delete it within a day. Our hosting provider also keeps standard request logs.

• To run your account and the service you signed up for.
• To show approved creator profiles to brand members, so they can find creators to work with.
• To share a creator’s contact details with a brand that unlocks them. Brands may use those details only to discuss a collaboration.
• To check that content posted for an offer meets that offer’s terms, and to run activation draws fairly.
• To send emails the service needs: confirming your address, password resets, perk codes and draw results.
• To send marketing emails, only if you ticked the box to receive them. Every one has an unsubscribe link.
• To keep Reecher secure, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.

Under UK data protection law, our legal bases are performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running a safe and useful marketplace, your consent for marketing, and legal obligations. UAE data protection law gives you equivalent protections.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use advertising trackers.

• Brands see approved creator profiles. They see contact details only when they unlock them, and they see content proof only for their own offers.
• Venues see what they need to confirm a redemption in person.
• Our service providers process data for us under contract: Vercel (hosting), Prisma (database), Resend (service emails), Klaviyo (marketing emails, only for people who opted in) and ImprovMX (forwarding mail sent to our addresses). When we start taking payments, a payment provider will handle card details. We will never see or store your full card number.
• Instagram and TikTok, if you connect an account, under their own privacy policies.
• Authorities, if the law requires it.

Our providers operate in several countries, including the United States and the European Union, so your data may be processed outside the UAE or the UK. Where that happens, we rely on the provider’s contractual safeguards for international transfers.

We keep your account data while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile, claims, applications and connected accounts. We keep only what the law requires us to hold, such as payment records once payments start. Security codes are deleted within a day.

You can edit most of your profile yourself at any time. You can also ask us to:

• give you a copy of your data
• correct anything that is wrong
• delete your account and data
• stop using your data for a particular purpose
• stop marketing emails, which you can also do with the unsubscribe link in any email

Email hello@reecherapp.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) or the UAE Data Office.

We use only the cookies the site needs to work, so there is no cookie banner:

• reecher_session keeps you signed in, for up to 30 days.
• reecher_social_state protects the connection while you link Instagram or TikTok. It lasts 10 minutes.

We use no analytics or advertising cookies.

Reecher is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you think someone under 18 has an account, tell us and we will remove it.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top. For significant changes, we will also email account holders before they take effect.
